My first week at Pukekohe Intermediate School

My first week at Pukekohe Intermediate was really fun, even if we had to do tests. I made a lot of friends and still had last years I still have to get used to walking back to room 40 after lunch instead of room 23. At school we're already getting back in to thing. I already signed up for a few things now. We've been going to the swimming pool and have been practicing for the swimming sports in week 4. Also this term we'll be doing speeches. But I'm pretty sure this term will be awesome.

School Athletics

On Tuesday the 16th of November butterfly's were flying in our stomachs, as we approached the Steelers home stadium, where they were soon to approach a big day of running, jumping, swinging and a number of other skills. Many records where broken by: Havannah Pearson, Kaitlin Petherick and lots of other students in year seven and eight. The teachers really got into it (Mr Walley was also challenged to a 400m race by a year eight student and placed second. Over all it was a great day and there where some stand out sports people where able to show of there amazing talent and the houses where able to collect some browny points at the social athletics held back at Pukekohe Intermediate School.

A few weeks ago on Thursday the year 8's had Careers Day and all the yr 7's in our class and room 30 were navigators or videoers, but Olivia and I were doing the refreshments in the Management Center. It was really fun we had to serve food for our great guests in our school, they were telling the yr 8's what cool careers they might want to do when they are older it was an awesome day all over, I think everyone had fun.
